If we agree that having separate EA accounts is justified for some reason, should we demand to have an ability to relink the game to another EA account?
We should. But I just got an answer from EA Help by email that I can't.
During registration there was not any notices that you are linking second account and you CLEARLY ALLOWED ME TO DO THIS. And now I can't create or join club, I can't have my own friends, I can't play with my household member on PC without third party member and I can't unlink it either.
So you are telling me now that all the money I spend on payed content and all the progress I had since game premiered are totally wasted and this is designed behaviour?
I have exactly the same issue. What bugs me most, is that EA understands that there is a problem. But they do not even reply to this problem. Someone clearly needs to have the guts (or ask his superior) to answer our question.
This is a simple yes or no reply:
Yes there will be a fix,
NO you simply wasted your money and now you start all over again.
I intentionnally added some sarcasm on second one because you should understand what it implies for us. It is really not a nice way to treat people who supported you/your game since it came out.

This is beyond stupid.
Kids have kids accounts on playstation. When I launched Apex, it asked me to create or use my existing account to approve them. Now they are linked to my account and can't play with them. No warning. No nothing on the impact of this. Now, both of them have gotten stuff they don't want to lose. Neither can play the game with the other or myself.
