    Both will have the same core EA account, and due to this, they won't work for cross-play, our system will see them as they same account, despite one being linked to a Microsoft account.

HI, i believe that you'll need an EA account for each active player, so you can't add the same account as a friend. Please create individual accounts for those who want to play, those should add as friends without issue.

 wait a sec do we have to put our apex xbox info to the ea server and same for ps4 im confused

    I was able to get a workaround!

    1) Create a Club,

    2) Have one of the players search for and join the Club,

    3) Invite to the lobby from the Club Page.

    While this doesn't fix the issue of being unable to add to friends, this does let you play with them.

    Hope this helps anyone still having issues!

    @ninjaboii26 My account was linked ft m previous EA games I had registered on my Xbox; my first Apexx was switch, my Xbox was auto linked... I miss my clubbies... -.-

    But I paid 400 bucks for this baby, switch is docked!
