    So I went back to my discord settings again just now and change a few things causing the game to start working and launching as normal.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification!

That sounds like it's probably something in the Discord configuration. Do you know if Discord is set to launch at Windows startup? I'm wondering if it's actually running in the background before you launch Apex Legends, but for some reason it's taking window focus when the game starts up.
