    Hi Legends, 

    It looks like the big connection issues we were seeing last week were mostly resolved, and things are much more stable now. We're still monitoring for potential issues, so feel free to let us know if you're still running into trouble. 

    Thanks again to everyone for sticking with us while we were working on getting these issues sorted out!

Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Octane and valkerye
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)? Mirage
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. I was in arena
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Left in the middle of a game
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? No
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 13
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Today
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't even load into the apex lobby
What should be happening instead? I should be able to load into the lobby and start up a match
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Idk it happens randomly just play slot I guess

    Today it is 11 days since you replied to this thread, @EA_Kent, and still we players of Battlefield V can not connect/get online. 

    The solutions herein presented by restarting router/modems, clearing MAC addresses,  and forwarding certain ports are beyond obsolete. 
    I would agree upon those "solutions" when we all started to play Battlefield 2 - a million years ago. But nowadays the responsibility should not be laid upon the shoulders of the gamers. 
    It should work, and when it comes to EA/DICE and its online games it really has to work. You've been in this too long to let it fail. 

    The online gaming is not in a development phase today, and as a gamer one should not have to shut down a household's Internet connection, managing ports, etcetera, in order to play online. The game (Battlefield V) is meant to be played without being "a hacker". 

    I strongly recommend EA to get these issues fixed, and moreover before releasing an update or a patch, for God's sake: Check it. Double and triple check before You consider it solid. 

    Go back to when the latest update was stable and we could connect, and take it from there. Start over!
