Appearing invisible on Steam should make me appear offline in Apex. Please.

What happens when the bug occurs? When I appear offline on Steam my friends can still see me playing. When they invite me to play and I don't want to play with them, I just log off and don't play. Which sucks. I am basically quitting the game because there are some people I don't want to play with but don't want to unfriend.
What should be happening instead? When I appear offline in Steam, I should appear offline.

When I appear offline in Steam, I should appear offline. It's a basic privacy issue. And it impacts my playtime a lot.
