@fartnitepalyer Well... after the split today, I went through the 5 placement matches, and this time only won two out of five, and unsurprisingly got put right back in Bronze IV with 1 AP to start. - I guess we can assume it will be at least next season before there is even a possibility they will fix this... though at least this time I lost more than I won, so I can accept that bottom of the rank placement... but it's the same place I've been put EVERY season, even when winning all or most placement matches.

i lost 5 out of 5 and got placed platinum 1.
a lot of former preds are getting platinum 1. they might have stealth fixed it... lol. I guess that's the only way to deal with an issue you refused to aknowledge for 4 months
- @fartnitepalyer I hardly played Ranked BR, so I think I got to Silver III, but got reset back to Bronze IV after the split.
- @fartnitepalyer Maybe you're right, and that is how they chose to address it, is just to base it based on BR Ranking, which sucks, because I play mostly arenas for the controlled adrenaline rush and not having to worry about 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc... parties. LOL!
@LynnM_1963its not based on BR. I was just asking about your BR rank cuz I was curious about your estimated skill level. This bug applies to former arena preds. If you were master or below, the bug usually doesn't apply and you will get placed normally, i.e. Plat 2, gold, sometimes silver
- @fartnitepalyer Ahhh... The highest I ever climbed was Gold I, but couldn't seem to break into Plat or beyond. I've gotten to Diamond on Mobile, but I assume that is because there are more new players on there. HA!
Honestly, the Grind in BR was just too much to stick with it to climb when playing only with random players, and everyone wanting to Hot Drop with half the lobby fighting over three weapons... which you are punished even worse for now, because there is no advantage to hot dropping and getting 10 kills if you are one of the first 3 to 5 squads eliminated in two minutes. Now, people need to play more strategically in BR Ranked if they want to climb, and most people seem stuck in their old ways, so I'm pretty much hard stuck in Bronze or Low Silver with no real desire to climb there. I play ranked, when I play BR, just because people don't instantly quit when they are knocked down as frequently because of time-out penalties for doing so.
I've been playing this game since the first day or two it was released, more than three years ago, and I pretty much play every day, at least a couple of hours a day to knock out the daily challenges and some of the weekly ones, though I usually re-roll the dailies to be able to complete them in Arenas. HA! I can confirm they partially fixed it, last split I reached pred and ended with master, got placed plat 1 yesterday.
If you have time, i suggest you to keep playing until you reach master, since you basically get +100/-12 until Diamond 4/3, and +40/-12 until master
