Audio Issues from March 29 update

Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Ive tried olympus (the whole map) and the new map "drop-off" for arenas
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. simply playing the game
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? No
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? none. After this most recent update my audio has been distorted. I have switched headsets AND controllers. I also updated my controller software, restated my xbox, and uninstalled and reinstalled my game.

What happens when the bug occurs? My audio is very distorted. it sounds very echoey and it reverberates. it sounds somewhat electronic if that makes sense. This happens both in the lobby and during a game. The audio doesn't sound as crisp as it did before the update. I've tested out other games to rule out my headphones and other games work just fine so it seems to be centralized to Apex. I'm not sure how else to describe the audio other than distorted and echoey. Imagine a thin piece of aluminum that you are wiggling back and forth. I'm not sure if that makes sense but that's the only thing I can really compare it to. I have no spacial audio as well. I can't tell which way a person is coming from. I have looked through all of my audio settings on my xbox and everything looks normal. I DO NOT have the mono audio setting on.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have an Xbox series x I'm guessing.
