What happens when the bug occurs? I can’t speak in game chat.
What should be happening instead? I need to be able to speak to my teammates.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I’m not sure. I don’t think it is my headset.

Since the update yesterday, my headphone mic does not work in game. I have a wired Turtle Beach Headset. The mic works in xbox party chat but I am unable to speak with anyone in the game itself. 

I haven’t been able to find anyone else having this problem and since the mic works in xbox party, I don’t think it is my headphones. 

Anyone else having this problem or know a fix?

Apex is the only game not registering my mic but as soon as I join a party or play a different game its fine. The audio is available just not my mic. I Uninstalled and reinstalled it 2 times, emptied cache, and restarted xbox. Even checked in game mic settings and nothing please help. Stop working since resent update.

having this same issue did the same thing as you i contacted support they said there nothing wrong  i cant downgrade to old game once you download the upgrade your stuck wont let me purchase  ethier

Check your audio settings and make sure you didn't disable voice chat.

I have an Xbox series S and have this problem too. I’ve tried everything. I heard other people are having problems on Xbox since the previous apex update.

How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? So much before the update After updating to the new generation, I played 10 times and couldn't keep up. The microphone is not working .

The problem did not exist before, but after the update to the new generation, this problem appeared, a malfunction in the microphone, so you cannot speak in the chat game.
Whether with people who were from the same platform or from other platforms, the microphone does not work at all.
I repeat the problem in xbox series x .

I am having the same issue. My teammates say my mic cuts out every few seconds. I did not have this issue before the update, and my mic works fine in Xbox party chat so it appears it is only the in game voice chat that is causing the issue. It's really frustrating because I have friends on other platforms I play with, and this makes it hard to communicate.

People are saying that i should to xbox settings then audio settings and switch to stereo uncompressed but it doesn’t work either

That only works when you are hearing double audio or glitched audio. It has nothing to do with your mic not working they are two separate glitches.
