@apjj Hey, if you test this by spamming scan in the Firing Range does the issue still manifest?

Can I check if changing skin affects how often this is likely to happen? If changing skin does, can I check what skin you were initially using?

Also, can I check if you have reinstalled since this started occurring?

Finally, you mention an error report, I assume it's a standard ce-34788-0, but if you can a different code, can you post it?

ill try the firing range and ill try a different skin, it may very well be the skin and i never thought about it.

If it even remotely matters.  I've been having this issue a TON as well since Season 6 started. As well on PS4.

I've crashed at least 5-7 times since last Tuesday (including not playing over the weekend).  Two of those crashes being today..

It seems to be an issue with the tactical ability / scan going off during the Ult / Beast of the Hunt.  I've had it happen in different parts of World's Edge, multiple times as stated.  I've also been able to reproduce it (accidentally mind you) in the firing range messing around with a friend as well.  From my observations, the crash ALWAYS happens during firefights with with other people or mid-battle.

I've mained Bloodhound since pre-season 1 and this is the most game breaking thing I've ever experienced.. which is also including the hit reg fiasco at the start of Season 5..

I get that you guys are working from home and all.... but.. my dudes..

P.S. I thought it might be a certain skin too, but I've had it happen on multiple skins.. Definitely an issue with the Ult / tactical changes my man. Never had this issue until Season 6...

so i changed my skin to his base skin and i havent had any issues, try using the season 5 skin for bloodhound, the battlepass one that you start with when you buy it. it seems that might be bugged or glitched.

@apjjAre you on a PS4 Pro with the Supersampling setting turned on btw?

I realized after I posted my reply yesterday that I had also switched TVs around the same time season 6 started.

As I already stated, I don't think it's an issue with skins specifically. I think it's more of an issue with processing load, which Supersampling will definitely increase if you're running on a 1080p TV.  I turned off my Supersampling yesterday and have yet to have any more issues.

Might be worth checking out if anyone still has a persistent issue with getting crashes from Bloodhound.

Thanks @Lucis133, that might be a factor. I don't have a PS4 Pro to test with, but I did play a bunch of games with BH yesterday without encountering the same issue on the base PS4.

What happens when the bug occurs? I will use bloodhounds tactical and the game freezes my ps4 doesn't while that happens it also make an glitchy sounding sound. Then my ps4 crashes.
What should be happening instead? My ps4 should not crash and Apex Legends should not freeze.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know.
