I just got out of a game where this happened to me. I was looting a supply bin and I thought a heard footsteps. I activated my scan and it detected no hostiles. About a second after the ping, I got hit in the back by a peacekeeper and the rest of the enemy team was rolling up on me. I really enjoy this game but the scan not working 100% of the time is starting to annoy me.
