Breakout Legends challenges progress reset

Hey everyone,

We recently released an additional fix to correct a number of other instances where progress was lost for these challenges.

If you've restarted your game and are still missing progress for these particular challenges, please get in touch with our support team directly so they can assist with that recovery.

Please follow the steps here or below to get in touch with support if needed.

On the EA Help homepage, look for your game in the list or enter the title of your game into the search bar.

Select the game you need help with from the search results.

Select the topic that best describes your issue in the Popular help topics section. If you can’t find it there, select See all help topics.

If you select See all help topics, you can find your topic quicker by using the Category list.

For example from the link above, first select Apex Legends, then select I need help restoring my progress in my game.

Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)?
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. The breakout menu for the legends
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. I was scrolling thru the menu for the Mad Maggie challenges
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 0
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) March 26th, 2024
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? I have no desire to reduce the challenges the rampart ones are time consuming and annoying
What should be happening instead? They should be 100 percent done except for the maggie
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just log in and look at my screen shot

Apex Legends: All Breakout legend challenge progress for Seer, Fuse, and Rampart reset for me.
Platform: PC
Gamer Tag: AFK-47 (Steam); AFK-47x (EA)
No Software Overlay
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Seer, Fuse, Rampart challenges progress are all gone.
Where did the issue occur? Lobby
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. The breakout menu for the legends
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) No idea when it happened, but I noticed it today, 3/27/2024, when I completed Mad Maggie's challenges.
What should be happening instead? Fix the issue: Please restore my progress on Seer, Fuse, Rampart. I'm not going to re-gring these challenges, much less waste time I can never get back on a broken game. Thank you.

*NOTE: I' am limited to three screenshots, but one of them shows (erroniously) that my progress is 1/6. Should be 4/6, given that I just completed Mad Maggie's challenges.. My EA Tag is AFK-47x; STEAM TAG: AFK-47

I am experiencing a very high level of frustration due to the recent technical issues this has affected my gaming experience significantly. I had diligently completed the requirements for unlocking the breakout challenges done four out of six legends, with only Loba and Valkyrie remaining, to get the Wraith and Flatline rewards. However, due to these unforeseen circumstances, I am disheartened by the possibility of losing my progress and the rewards associated with it. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter and ensuring that my efforts are not in vain.

  I completed the Seer Fuse and Rampart quests for the second time today. I hope it doesn't reset again. Better safe than sorry, I dont trust apex legends anymore 😉
