Just to follow up: A recent Windows update may be the culprit. The BSOD has only been happening since KB5041585 (2024-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems) was installed. The issue only appeared recently, and Windows Event Viewer confirms that these particular blue screens have been occurring since the above Windows update was installed on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. People who have had similar issues in other games (I've seen complaints about this happening with Elden Ring and Fortnite) have mentioned that driver/OS updates may be at fault, and here it definitely looks like it's the OS. Is it simply a matter of waiting until their next monthly update, then?
Following up again: Uninstalling KB5041585 hasn't stopped the BSOD from happening during the EAC screen. Also, it happens regardless of whether I'm on the DX12 beta or DX11. I still think the Windows update had something to do with the issue, unless there was some client update that happened on the same day.
Another follow-up: used Microsoft's WinDbg debugging tool to look at the crash dumps generated after the blue screens. Turns out the culprit is definitely EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys. Other users have reported this EAC issue with other games, as I've mentioned. One of the solutions that's often suggested is to delete the EasyAntiCheat folder from wherever Steam games are installed and then verify the game files or to reinstall EAC manually using EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe in the same folder, but neither of these have worked. Odds are this is something EAC needs to fix more so than Respawn/EA or Microsoft. I hope the devs can communicate this to them.
I would attach the most recent crash dump, but this form doesn't allow for .zip uploads (even though it claims to) or .dmp files with their extension changed to .txt.

I got a Legion laptop, and the game crashes every time it starts after waking up the laptop from a sleep state.
It never crashes if I never put my laptop to sleep. It is definitely an EAC issue and not something fixable by Windows I believe.
Haven't tested with other games needing EAC though.
