Same issue on my WLMouse Beast X FAB while on 8khz. Haven't noticed it on 4k. Maybe I haven't played enough.
- @xXSh4dowStrikeXx I use WLmouse BEAST X mini
Problem occurs on 8k after season update.
I couldn't check the problem in 4k, so I'm using it as 4k. The higher the refresh rate, the more pronounced the random deceleration effect of the mouse. Sensitivity seems to be variable rather than fixed.
I think this bug is caused by the following updates:
Fixed bug that caused high polling rate mice to occasionally encounter high frame stutters. High polling rate mice users should now see little to no frame stutters from mouse input.
Input and window processing now occurs on its own thread instead of the render thread.- akkunbrown9 months agoSeasoned Newcomer
I posted this on the Bug forum and wanted to make sure this is in the correct field.

I'm using a mouse called Zaunkoenig M2K.
After the recent update, every 10 minutes or so, the sensitivity is greatly reduced (halfed~1/3 of usual) for around 3 seconds. When i set the polling rate to 4khz and 2khz, the duration of the issue reduces to around 1 second.
I wonder if anyone else has this issue.
- @Bscanor Exactly same issue. I dont know why didn't they pop up any related solutions. Even no replies.
- @akkunbrown I'm experiencing the exactly same issue. There is no pattern for it. It is totally random cases. It usually occurs when I tried to suddenly change objects.(maybe it would be more obvious that way). The official staff did not response any possible solution so far. Only happened in Apex. It works well on other games!
I haven't played Apex since this issue occurred.
I've seen this bug since the start of season 22 Shockwave and it has been happening since. I have also seen a few other people along with friends and randoms I meet in game that have the same issue. Notably before season 22 there was some stutter and fps drops from using a high polling rate but nowhere near as impactful and disruptive as this, (I would liken the feeling to getting hit by a stun grenade in COD, or walking into a wattson fence. Yes the mouse slow is that severe.)
They claimed to have fixed the high polling mouse lag in one of the season update patches. I think what they claimed to have fixed was actually limiting the refresh rate of the mouse in some way, aka slowing it down. The problem is indeed worse than lag.

Have you guys noticed the issue with high polling rates on the mouse causing it to slow down? This issue happened after the first two season updates, and I remember the update patch had a description fixing the FPS lag caused by high polling rates. But this issue is more serious than FPS stuttering, high polling rates don't work and there is inexplicable slowdown.
Previously, when using a mouse polling rate greater than 2000, the game's FPS would decrease slightly when I shook the mouse dramatically.
Now the FPS remains stable no matter how much I shake the mouse. But the speed of the mouse decelerates by varying amounts.
Is the polling rate limited in some way?
