@AymCTL Just had a round with ZERO registration on an enemy standing still. I could not find their hit box...
Last round win the round with 2k carrying my teammates, this round can't even get one shot to register on this guy standing still. Must be a skill issue.

@WhoopFighter No, it isn't a skill issue. Before season 20 I was getting 5 or 6 kills per game on switch. When season 20 started bullets did little to no damage. PC had the same thing happen when season 22 started. It has something to do with changes they made to the game servers when these new seasons started.
Switch is actually more playable right now than pc even though it still has its share of issues.
I think they should temporarily shut down the pc version and do a major overhaul of the system. Maybe put in new servers and check the code of the game to see why shots don't hit or why they go through walls and crates. It's getting so ridiculous now.

- 10 months ago@AymCTL Just to be clear, I was being sarcastic and "must be skill issue" was directed towards myself. I think we're on the same page, but just in case.
@DeepBeats In other games with Crossplay, the hit reg can be off, but in Apex there's no consistency. It's always "good" players that can beam me, but I can't get a single shot to register 15 feet away. I've also been dying to people before the shots get registered. I die instantly without getting any damage feedback.
The dual Mozams is yet another example of bad game design amplifying poor hit reg, desync, low tick rate server, and the cheating problem. You can't lower the TTK without fixing the other stuff. This is very, VERY, basic game design stuff for shooters.- MrGreenWithAGun10 months agoNew Ace
One can look to the netcode as to why hits don’t register until you shoot forward squarely on a target that neither moved 1s before you pulled the trigger nor 1s after. If they were motionless the server could not possibly adjudicate a different location.
i have seen that on apex and I cannot explain it. The “cheaters” would have had to hack the server to get the server to adjudicate a miss like that.
so what’s wrong with the server?
I wonder?
- DeepBeats10 months agoSeasoned Adventurer@WhoopFighter Another thing that i notice is that many poeple's movement dont even flinch when being shot at meanwhile i get * to the ground which makes them harder to hit and easier to down me. But well that could go hand to hand with the bullet registration problem.
The game just have too many issues and the developers keep adding more problems on top of the existing ones.- 10 months ago@DeepBeats I hate the slowdown mechanic. Like you said, it doesn't seem to affect everyone equally. Some characters, like Gibby, have the fortified perk so that they are immune to slowdown. I've seen plenty of characters without the perk also seem immune to it as well.
That's the thing about cheaters these days. They can do all sorts of minor things that eventually add up to big advantages. There's no need to rage hack and get caught anymore. Manually watching a player, with 20 ticks, it's going to be hard to detect cheaters without having any doubts.
Another thing that I've noticed, is that I take damage in the storms on the beginning of each tick. Enemies with far less health than I do, they seem to outlast me quite often outside of the ring. I don't get it.
