@DeepBeats I hate the slowdown mechanic. Like you said, it doesn't seem to affect everyone equally. Some characters, like Gibby, have the fortified perk so that they are immune to slowdown. I've seen plenty of characters without the perk also seem immune to it as well.
That's the thing about cheaters these days. They can do all sorts of minor things that eventually add up to big advantages. There's no need to rage hack and get caught anymore. Manually watching a player, with 20 ticks, it's going to be hard to detect cheaters without having any doubts.
Another thing that I've noticed, is that I take damage in the storms on the beginning of each tick. Enemies with far less health than I do, they seem to outlast me quite often outside of the ring. I don't get it.
