I don't know why I decided to play ranked on pc again even though I know it's 90% cheaters, but I tried it tonight and bullets go straight through every enemy without doing any damage. Is this happening to anyone else? It wasn't in pubs, but just in ranked. Could this be from the cheats they use in ranked or is it a bug going on right now?It wasn't just me either, several Randoms I was with had their bullets go straight through enemies even at point blank range. I know this game has an ongoing problem of hits not registering, but usually you at least get 1 or 2 shots to register, tonight none did any damage, all zero stats. Weird.

If I even peek someone, it usually means that they have already depleted my shields before I can fire off one round. It feels like I'm not playing on the same time line as others is how I would describe it.I don't know if there's a cheat to do that or what, but something feels way off. Some players will just take no damage, like you can't find their hit box.Once in a while I'll get a game where my shots feel spot on. I'll consistently knock people with one clip instead of having a super drawn out fight where I just can't seem to damage them.Another thing that happens far too frequently, is that when I catch someone off guard, I'll get them down to 25hp, then they'll just snap to me and get me down to 25hp instantly. Like they don't even consider going to cover to figure out where they're getting shot from. Instead they snap to me and land all their shots instantly. There's so many cheaters, it's unbelievable how rampant it is. I doubt anyone knows what a completely legit round feels like anymore.The game is dying because most people don't want to put up with this anymore. I'm just waiting for another shooter to come along to take the place of this, which there are several on the horizon. Apex is fun when the gunfights feel fair, but they rarely do.

@AymCTL Just to be clear, I was being sarcastic and "must be skill issue" was directed towards myself. I think we're on the same page, but just in case.@DeepBeats In other games with Crossplay, the hit reg can be off, but in Apex there's no consistency. It's always "good" players that can beam me, but I can't get a single shot to register 15 feet away. I've also been dying to people before the shots get registered. I die instantly without getting any damage feedback.The dual Mozams is yet another example of bad game design amplifying poor hit reg, desync, low tick rate server, and the cheating problem. You can't lower the TTK without fixing the other stuff. This is very, VERY, basic game design stuff for shooters.

@WhoopFighter Another thing that i notice is that many poeple's movement dont even flinch when being shot at meanwhile i get * to the ground which makes them harder to hit and easier to down me. But well that could go hand to hand with the bullet registration problem.The game just have too many issues and the developers keep adding more problems on top of the existing ones.

@DeepBeats I hate the slowdown mechanic. Like you said, it doesn't seem to affect everyone equally. Some characters, like Gibby, have the fortified perk so that they are immune to slowdown. I've seen plenty of characters without the perk also seem immune to it as well.That's the thing about cheaters these days. They can do all sorts of minor things that eventually add up to big advantages. There's no need to rage hack and get caught anymore. Manually watching a player, with 20 ticks, it's going to be hard to detect cheaters without having any doubts.Another thing that I've noticed, is that I take damage in the storms on the beginning of each tick. Enemies with far less health than I do, they seem to outlast me quite often outside of the ring. I don't get it.

@AymCTL I've had the issue when my ping was higher than 100ms, (but I don't know if its server related or not).

Yeah I'm also getting that weird delay. Like you're behind the server and the enemy sees you much earlier. Also makes tracking really hard.

@be-Betsuniii I noticed the same thing going on since season 20 that you just pointed out here.

Back in season 20 they made some changes to the weapons, you'll notice if you compare season 19 and season 20 footage of the hcog 1x and 2x attachments that they are much thicker and have a larger reticle than the pre season 20 variant. Also, the sounds of the guns were changed and the ways the bullets fired.

What was going on in the video you posted is after season 20 the Hcog 1x and 2x would fire from the left or right instead of down the center the way they did pre season 20. In season 19 it was possible to snap right onto a target and take them out with 1 mag when using guns such as flatline, Nemesis, havoc, spitfire, etc. Now, you have to aim first since if you snap right onto a target the gun will fire either to the left or right of the target, buy not right at the target since the change was made. Basically, it is like shooting with a bent sight on a real gun.

Also shown in the video, the bullet passing through the person and going to the left or right was part of the no hit reg problem as described in the thread. Popular streamers Evan Verhulst and Maddie Taylor have done shorts showing this problem happen, I linked to the one Verhulst did in an earlier thread. Also, these issues caused 4 1/2 pages of friends that I had on apex to leave the game and switch to other games, I talk to Randoms about this stuff all the time and they all tell me it's the same now everytime they play, hardly no kills or damage except rare matches where it runs better.

I actually got good hit reg in a ranked match a few nights ago and managed to get over 300 rp and last all the way to the final 2, coming in 2nd. Then back to zero damage matches or matches where a whole mag does 35 damage or something. Prior to season 20 almost every match I got 5 or 6 kills in pubs or ranked, and could get 15 kills or so in mixtape matches. I hate it things have gone downhill since then. Thank you for validating the points I was making here. If enough people complain hopefully the devs will listen. They have been sending surveys out and listening more lately so it's a good sign.
