Can’t open inventory in a match. Goes straight to settings/menu.

What happens when the bug occurs? The inventory/menu button goes straight to settings/main menu option! It does not open inventory.
What should be happening instead? Opening inventory
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Idk but somethings up cause I changed the controller settings and switched it to another button and it still does the same thing.
