Cannot Appear Offline to Crossplay Friends

Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)?
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. NA
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. NA
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? Yes
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? NA
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) After Crossplay patch
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Little to no impact to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Cannot appear invisible/offline to cross play friends.
What should be happening instead? If I select "invisible" status in my friends list settings, I should be able to appear offline to all friends.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play on PC. Friend someone playing on Xbox or PS4 through the 'Find Friend' feature in game. Set status to 'invisible' in the origin launcher. Now notice from your console friend's perspective that they can still see you're online.

Hey Guys,

 I have an issue where I like to appear offline when I play the game but cannot appear offline with cross play friends. I play on PC from the Origin launcher and usually set my self to "Invisible" status so no one can see me online. But all of my cross play friends on PS4 and Xbox can still see me online from the friends list in game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Yeah, this is definitely an issue. I stay invisible all the time.  I sometimes like to hop on for a quick match but now have people asking why I am not letting them know when I am online.  They can still see my PC online when they are using xbox.

    @SMG_Simiun Same issue with ps4 players too when we appear offline on ps4, ps4 friends cannot see me available from the find friends menu but my xbox friends and pc friends can still see me online.

    +1. This is also a problem just on PC when you're playing via Steam. If you set yourself to Invisible on Steam, your Origin friends can still see you in-game in Apex, and there's no way to change your visibility in game.

    Same here, I'm set to offline mode or invisible and xbox friends say hey I see you playing still. Not sure who's at fault more than likely an xbox issue, but even then I sign off of everything xbox related, but it still shows me on apex playing. I have it linked through steam, but even still orgin is offline mode, steam is invisible mode.

    I really wish Respawn could fix the Appear Offline feature with the upcoming EA app launch. The issue has existed in the state of negligence far too long.

    Most live services respect the account privacy and they don't leave the matter like this.

    Appear Offline/Invisible should be Appear Offline/Invisible. The feature is very basic one for Origin and Steam working flawlessly for many years.
