Hi!
When I log into apex through origin and go to the club tab, I get a message saying 'This EA account is already in a club', but it does not let me do anything. It doesn't show me any club details either.
Hmm, I see. That's pretty strange. Have you only used this account to play on Steam and Origin? You haven't played on any other platforms?

Did you join the club after you were already playing on PC, or did you join it back when you were on PS4?

My little brother played on PS and apparently his PS account was linked to my Origin account, but they were separate, if that makes sense.

I am having the same exact issue as nottness, it started out around October 2020 with other club issues and my friends list. When season 8 started I opened up clubs tab which I used to be able to to leave the club for the day but the next log in I would be back in it, and I have the same exact message as nottness "This EA account is already in a club" ….can't see club members or leave or do anything. every night around 5pm pst my club tag is removed in game but if I open up clubs I still have the same message. My son played on xbox and like others our EA accounts were some how affiliated with each other, He left the club I'm stuck in and can join other clubs but I'm permanently in it. This really has an impact on my game play experience along with not being able to add friends and play with them (if I add a friend it goes to my sons xbox friends list) by the way I called EA and had my sons EA account for his xbox removed from my EA account. EA said they could not remove me from the club and I would have to come here to get help.

Thanks for the info!
Did you also unlink one of your platform accounts form your EA Account before this started happening?

Hi Kent, So just to try everything i removed the PS account associated with my EA account, leaving just my Xbox account. I logged into Apex and there was still no option to leave the club. I'm currently trying uninstalling and re-installing the game, but it's quite frustrating as it really limits the community that i can interact and find teammates with. If after reinstalling it still doesn't work i'm going to follow this up with a screenshot.
*Edit: Re-installing did not fix. Can you please just manually remove me from the club? At this point i honestly don't care if i lose skins/progress, i'd rather be able to play in a club with friends

Hey @joeynaptime,
I'm afraid that's not something I can do myself. I don't have a way to make any changes to club membership myself. I'm wondering if removing the PlayStation account caused something to get stuck behind the scenes.
I think I'll have to pass this along for a look, but I just want to make sure we can spot any common factors that might make this easier to figure out. Right now it sounds like removing the platform accounts is the best lead we have to go on.
@BagadDr Did you also unlink one of your platform accounts from your EA Account before this started happening?

I am also having the same issue where it says "This EA account is already in a club"

well thank you, if you could please do that sooner rather than later I would appreciate a prompt reply. Season 9 for Apex Legends is coming up soon and I’d like to be able to participate in clubs sooner rather than later. At this point I’m completely fine with having my account wiped/reset if that’s what it takes, can always earn new cosmetics.

Thanks for reaching out!Do you remember if you unlinked any platform accounts from your EA Account before you started getting this error?

I actually got this issue fixed yesterday by talking to support. I had to link my switch back to my main ea account and I left the club on my switch and it fixed everything from there.

no problem!

Unfortunately I may not have that same option to fix. When I removed my brothers PlayStation from my EA account, he proceeded to make/attach it to his own.

I got this case/bug ID:82255619
I also cant join any clubs because it says im "already in one". The club im in isnt one that I chose, nor do I even know what club it is. I cant leave the club either and I cant do anything at all about it. My EA account isnt linked with anything, so I dont get how it is in another club with my EA account when I didnt join any clubs ☹️

Hey @joeynaptime,
I've sent this up to the team for a look, but I'm afraid I don't have any updates right now. If I hear back with some news I'll be sure to let everyone know.

Hi @EA_Kent ,
Frustration is growing as i've still not heard of a solution yet. Browsing these forums it appears to be a common issue, if i contact support directly would they be able to clear up the issue on my account? The other EA account that was linked to mine has been hooked up to their own account, so switching it back to mine is no longer possible due to the cooldown you guys have on linking accounts.

Hey @joeynaptime,
I get the frustration. I'm sorry I don't have any new updates to share on this. I was hesitant to suggest contacting EA Help on this because I'm not sure if they can help in every case. I saw that someone earlier in this thread mentioned they were able to fix this for them, but it might not be the same for everyone.
If you'd like to get in touch with EA Help to see if they can fix this in your case you're definitely welcome to contact them. You can find more details on how to set up a case with them over at the EA Help website. If you prefer you can also speak with them over Twitter or Facebook instead.

This thread was created back in December of 2020, so we are going on 5 nearly 6 months of no solutions? Is there really no way for us to simply provide our GT’s or usernames or whatever and be manually removed from clubs on your end?
This is forcing us to use third parties to try and find communities of people to play with. And preventing us from achieving the badges and accolades associated with playing with club members. That’s not to mention the communities and relationships formed when using this resource.
I’m extremely disappointed that there’s been no progress on this bug yet, and all I’m seeing is you collecting information and not providing updates.

Hey @joeynaptime,
I can understand the frustration. I'm sorry I don't have more information to share on this.
In the meantime I would recommend getting in touch with EA Help to see if they can help by relinking the accounts so you can leave the club manually. You can find more info on how to create a case with them over at the EA Help website. If you prefer you can also speak with them over Twitter or Facebook instead.
