When you have the chance I'd recommend starting off with the basic connectivity steps from the EA Help website. If you're still running into the same problem afterward check out the Xbox-specific steps as well.

What happens if you try setting a different DNS on your Xbox? I've seen some cases where using a different DNS can help with similar issues as well. To update the DNS on your Xbox follow the steps below:
1. Open your Xbox Settings and select Network
2. Select Advanced Settings
3. Go to DNS Settings and select Manual
4. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but if there's a different public DNS you would rather use instead that's OK as well.

Tried this with no luck.
Let me claitfy i have no other connection issues. Trios etc are ok. If i change to different servers i can even find duos games (but laggy as a hell)
Surely this is an issue with apex/respawn?

i cant play ranked wit me friend i only get 2-4 players each que i want to play duos
This is still happening in season 11, I have tried all Australian servers and none work. It is clear that either no one plays duos on Australian servers or there is an issue with duo matchmaking on Australian servers only
Please re-look at this issue to see if it can be resolved!! I have tried all the troubleshooting you have suggested and I am still getting the same problem. Duo's when it was first released was all I played and I loved it. Still only being able to find 3-5 people for about 2 minutes before being reset to only 1 person. Playing on other servers is an absolute struggle with high ping and packet loss.
It's been well over a year since i've been able to play duos, the problem still persists. Please do something EA, at least let us know you are aware that the problem still exists.
