Can't got heirloom shards through 500 after unlock ACE heirloom

    Anniversary Collection Event heirloom pack had a bug. It unintentionally reset the "counter" that guarantees you get heirloom shards every 500 packs. Only people who opened the heirloom pack before 3pm PT on 2/10 were affected, as the bug was fixed.

    We're working on a hotfix to restore affected players' "bad luck protection" counters to their proper count (including additional packs opened since the bug). If the bug prevented you from getting rewarded on your 500th pack, you'll receive a pack containing heirloom shards.

    We're also going to grant affected players 5 Apex Packs for their trouble. We'll update when the fix has rolled out and we've confirmed that it's working properly."

Well, may as contribute since there hasn't been a decent response and this needs more attention.

I've spent an embarrassing amount of money on packs, and then even more on this event for the shards. When I saw the shards come out of a normal pack I immediately grew concerned and after a quick search found many topics on the issue.

I'm not quite close enough to 500 packs to drop more money to verify if I get one (and frankly, I don't really feel like giving EA more after this scam), but I was closer to 500 than 0. I'm not sure what's worse, if this was intentional or if it was an oversight. Either way, its a slap in the face of  the people who throw the most money at their product.

@Anokran They have to come with some kind of reply, this is hottest topic at the moment. Dev's cannot deny it anymore. We will get a dev reply soon enough i believe.
