Community ManagerStrange. Do you have anything plugged into the USB slots or are you using a custom PS4 controller?
Try rebooting your network and power cycle the console. Then launch the game and reset your settings back to default. Try playing some games.
Reboot the power to the modem/router
- Unplug the power cable from your modem/router for 5-10 minutes to refresh the network.
PS4:
Power Cycle
- Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
- Turn it back on after 1 minute. Launch the game.

Hey all,
I moved several individual reports together so we have them all under one post. If any of you are still experiencing this, can you let us know if reinstalling the game fixes this for you?If you still experience this, please attach a record clip (or link to a clip) of when this happens. A 5 minute clip of leading up to this and you interacting with the box for a minute would really be helpful in narrowing down what causes this. Try exiting the death box and check your inventory, then loot again.
Hey team, I am experiencing this on PSN.. started 3 days ago. I have power cycled my ps4 pro. I have unplugged my router for 10 minutes I have uninstalled the game and redownloaded. Still happening 100% of the time. I cannot loot deathboxes, except for weapon attachments and only if I pick up weapon attachments to my inventory then drop my previous attachment and then attach the weapon attachment to my weapon from my inventory. I cannot loot anything else. I tried checking my inventory then trying to loot again I have tried dropping all of my loot and looting a deathbox. But nothing. This is upsetting to say the least. But it is the very first bug I experience. So hopefully it gets fixed thank you for your time.
The problem still persists. Switching the controller layout to the default works; however, I now have to get used to this layout and retrain my muscle memory – which is a severe impairment on my gameplay.
I have had this issue consistently for a few weeks now -- ever since the Revenant Heirloom Update; I haven't been able to Loot ANY death boxes in any matches (I can open and see contents, and even ping contents, but can not Loot anything)
I can Loot from the ground, and my team mates can usually Loot the boxes, when comma are available I can ask them to Loot and drop ammo, armor, meds, etc for me
I tried Uninstaller and reinstalling the game, but to no affect; I still am unable to Loot ANY death boxes whatsoever.
This happens in 100% of the games I play.
I play on Xbox One
