Can't Pickup Mastiff From Care Package Bug

What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Trying to pickup a Mastiff shotgun from a care package.

What happens when the bug occurs? When I approach a Mastiff from a care package, I am unable to see the "press E to pickup" box, I just stand there staring at the gun. I have to get in EXACTLY the right position in order to pick up the weapon. My friends have had this happen before. It only happens on the Mastiff and only happens from care packages. It has lead to my death in game numerous times. I can't tell you how many times out of 10 it would happen because most of the time I open care packages it dosent matter if I take 5 extra seconds maneuvering to get the button to come up. But it just now got me killed instead of winning the match and I really think its time we addressed it.
What should be happening instead? The gun should be instantly able to be swapped out.
