Can't swap Survival Items using 'Tap to use/Hold to reload' settings (PS4)

What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Trying to pick up a different survival item off the ground while using 'Tap to use/Hold to reload' interact button settings

How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? Many, the issue arose when I changed my interact button settings to 'Tap to use/Hold to reload'

What happens when the bug occurs? When I switched my interact button settings to 'Tap to use/Hold to reload' I lost the ability to swap out survival items from ground loot
What should be happening instead? I should be able to swap out survival items tye same way I can swap out weapons on the ground while using 'Tap to use/Hold to reload' interact button settings
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into a BR match with 'Tap to use/Hold to reload' interact button settings, pick up any survival item then try to swap the equipped survival item with any other survival item from ground loot. You will not be able to swap the survival items. You should be able to swap the survival items just like you swap weapons
This issue does not occur when swapping an equipped survival item for a different survival item from a death box/black market. It only occurs when interacting with another survival item on the ground/ in a loot box.
The issue is corrected when I revert my interact button settings to the default, but my preferred settings are 'Tap to use/Hold to reload'.
I am confident this issue would be replicable in the firing range if there were more survival items available there than just the Evac Tower.
