Can't use ultimate (z) in training mode

I was just having this same issue on PC and I literally went all over the training grounds and it wouldn't work. Finally I decided to just switch the button configured with the ultimate tactical to H (random) instead of Z and it finally worked for me first try. I don't know why at all that made a difference but maybe try it out and see if it helps
