Constant Engine Error 0x887A0006 Crashes

Do you currently have your video card overclocked? If so, can you try reverting it back to the factory clock speed to test and see if that makes any difference? 

Also, if you currently have G-Sync enabled can you try disabling it to see if anything changes as well?

I have only played this game for less than a month and started having this same issue 3 days ago. I have updated bios, updated graphics drivers, rolled back graphics drivers, disabled any overclocking, run file checker, repaired easy anti cheat, unistalled game/steam and completely removed files from the system, attempted to run in clean boot with no background processes, all suggestions listed available online and still it persists. I can't even stay on the home screen for more than 30 seconds before I get this or any number of errors relating to graphic textures unable to be created.

What type of video card are you using? Could you share your DxDiag when you've got the chance? 

RTX 2070. What exactly are you looking for in the dxdiag? There's some identifying info in there, so I'd rather not share on a public forum.

After a considerable amout of time trouble shooting software issues, I'm starting to believe that this may be a hardware issue. Although my graphics card is only 2 years old, I believe it is failing. I plugged into the native on board graphics processor and was able to load into the game with no crashes. Obviously it was laggy and looked terrible, but it didn't crash. I then borrowed a freind's GTX 1660 Super and could tell immediately that it was stable. I have initiated contact with the manufacturer and hope to receive a replacement card. I will update as soon as I get a replacement for anyone that may have this problem in the future.

Thanks for following up! Hopefully they're able to help you get a replacement. Feel free to share any updates here when you have the chance. 

I finally received my replacement card and the game is stable. I was able to swap it in and get to playing for a few hours with no errors or crashes. In my case, I tried anything and everything software wise and it turned out to be a failing card. I hope this helps someone in the future.
