What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. I was leaving a building and going to a container to open it.

What happens when the bug occurs? I select the button layour for a controller called button puncher. I have played 4 games to see if it would reoccur. It did. Anytime I use that layout within the first 2 minutes of landing the controller buttons stop working and my player only moves forward (on it's own). I tried to switch back to keyboard and mouse and they wouldn't work either. The default layout for a controller on the PC is fine and have had no issues. I'm not sure about any of the other button layouts I haven't tried them because I won't use them.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to use my controller and/or my mouse and keyboard but once the player starts to move forward constantly there is nothing I can to but exit to desktop and reset to default controller layout before I start the next game
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use a controller on the PC version on Apex Legends and select the "Button Puncher" option. Go in game and within 1 or 2 minutes you won't be able to stop your player from moving forward constantly. Please can you fix this I really like that button layout better than the default.
