DDos'd and penalized like WTF

    Fair enough, hopefully stuff related to voice abuse n stuff will get better.

    Also, if the read-only box doesn't fix it, just try to wipe the entire apex folder in (%userprofile%\saved games\respawn\apex\)

    Let the game generate it again and see if that fixes it.

    Otherwise I wouldn't know what would be causing it.

For voice chat - there IS a voice to text option which isn't always accurate but does work sometimes, so I report that when derogatory things are said towards me and they just ignore it even if the voice-to-text option relayed it correctly. I feel like they encourage toxicity with this behavior because one person out of a lot getting penalized a month or every few months? That's not enforcing anything or taking it seriously.

I tried your option but every time I unchecked the read-only box (and yes I have the perms to do it it's my computer I built and I'm the admin) and applied and saved the changes, I would re-open it to see if it kept my change but it just keeps resetting the read-only box and re-checking it. I tried unchecking it and applying it and saving it at least 20 times now and that's definitely not the specific solution for me.

    @XHelperZ I totally forgot to reply to this but I hadn't done this step, and restarted my computer, and my settings were saved from the last time I played. Ty SO much for that I've been changing them manually every time I log in/relog for so long now. It's nice that I don't have to
