Defiance Pack not added on Steam

I'm not sure if this is a different aspect of my same problem, but when I bought packs and coins on Origin/EA website I did not get the items in-game on Steam (where I play).

I had to install the game through Origin launcher and login into Apex there, where the items would register on my account and then log in on Steam where I would then see the items. It was annoying, but it was the only way i got them to show up on my Steam version.

I cannot say if this same thing would have happened if I had bought the items through Steam, but just fyi and hope this info helps you in some way.
