I can confirm, that even after the graphics driver update, it still crashes with the same device hung error..

It's rubbish! Every other game is crashing for me now with the device hung error message and there are no fixes that work. Makes it unplayable!

Like many others on here since season 13 I've been having multiple dx_hung_errors. Reading the forum I found a post that said shadows disabled solved the crashes. With everything max, I set Shadow Detail to LOW. Played a week with no crashes. As soon as I enabled to Very High, the game crashed during the next round. I believe a issue with shadows are causing these crashes.
Nvidia 3080ti.

Have you tried repairing game files?
Usually fixes this issue, otherwise i would think this issue is related to faulty drivers.

So, if you're using steam, go to steam-->settings-->>downloads-->> and delete your download cache. Just played 6 in a row without any crashes so far.

Tried this but am still getting DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG.

I have these game breaking bugs as well, first the one OP said and now the one attached as a photo. I played on day 1 (3 dc in one match, finished second because of it) and just now i tried again with the new nvidia driver, same issue. Total crash, straight to desktop.

i was playing a normal.. and the game freeze just as it happens before the DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG crash... yet... this time didn't crash.. and unfreeze after 1 second... right after i got this icon... what is it?

I've had this icon show up as well during gameplay and in the same situations that I would crash.
While preferable to outright crashing, whatever solution is occurring isn't enough.

guys,... i think i found something
i've installed GPU-Z and checked all the values.. i noticed that when i crash i had a max value of Power Consumption at 104% of TDP.... so i capped the FPS at 120, and put all the setting to low... now my max Power Consumpition is around 95%.. and it doesn't crash anymore... try it
