This Disable worked for me. Have not had a crash in a week.

I did what @sebashooter recommended (spot shadow detail disabled, dynamic spot shadows disabled)
and I was able to play a whole session (5~6 games) without a crash.
Let's hope it keeps working. ill report back if i get one.

I had my spot shadow detail on low. Everything else max and didn't get anymore crashes. I haven't tested, but you may be able to increase it a little. Max seems to created the DX errors.

Also adding my name to this list, exact same device hung issue, happening once per game. 3060ti no overclock, was fine until season 13
Researched and tried a lot of potential fixes, but none have worked so far. Yet to try the latest one mentioned here though.

Just wanted to update ...
The workaround from @sebashooter seems to have fixed the problem for me.
In Apex settings, Video tab, set:
Spot Shadow Detail: Disabled
Dynamic Spot Shadows: Disabled
Left all other settings the same.
Since I did this last week, haven't seen a crash in over 50 games.
Anyway, give it a shot, hope it works for you.
Edit: looping in @pidge2k to assist the debug process.

Hello.
It seems it is related to this at least on my end in combination with VRAM settings. If you have spot shadowdetail on and change the VRAM settings and then click apply it crashes for me 10/10 times.
Running
GTX1080
i7 7700k
16gb ram
Win 10
3 moniters
This might not be the same issue but it solved the crashing i was having.

Can you record a video of what you are doing and upload it to YouTube (video showing steps to to force a crash when changing the VRAM settings)? Even if it is different from what others are seeing, still seems like it would be good to look into.

Thanks. Our QA has tried with these settings enabled but no luck. I'll see if I can give it a try myself again over the next couple of days.

Yeah so with those settings enabled I have a chance of a crash.
It's unpredictable.
There were times where I crashed at the first minute and others where I crashed in the very last phase of the game at the worst possible time.
But since disabling those I haven't seen any crashes.
