Has anyone had this error with "Spot Shadow Detail" and "Dynamic Spot Shadows" DISABLED?
It only happens to me when I enable the shadows I got the "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG", followed by "failed to create texture __precomputedshadowtexture"
Also I use V-sync On, when I enable "Spot Shadow Detail" and "Dynamic Spot Shadows" the FPS is like microstutter or frame skipping, ONLY in Storm Point.
I'm about to test this.. I think you may be on to something. I disabled for a game and then tried to re-enable.. as soon as I re-enabled the game literally crashed. I need to do some extensive testing.
