DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG in battlepass windows and in arena

Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. battle pass, in previous patch on arenas matches.
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Scrolling batlle pass and watching what i can get here. In arenas: can't find anything same which cause it constantly

How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? everytime in battlepass, almost every game in arena, sometimes multiple times in one match

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Game closes with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG window
What should be happening instead? game should keep working
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In current patch it's enough for me to scroll back and fourth battlepass rewards and watch at some of them

Every time i get to battlepass tab and check rewards i get DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG error and game crashes.

In previous patch i had same problem almost in every arena game, but couldn't remember any in battle royale.

I have already contacted nvidia support(after diagnostics they told that graphics card is completely fine), clean reinstalled graphics driver, repaired windows, tryed to update directX(latest version so didn't update) and nothing of this helped.

    Hey, while I'd lean towards card issues, it sounds like you've approached that side of things thoroughly. Past this, it sounds like a problem with hardware (perhaps there's an issue on the HDD the game's installed to?) or the local game install?

    With how extensive the steps listed are, I assume you've tried a reinstall, but can I check if a repair (or verify integrity if you play on Steam) finds a problem? If it does, are more problems found on subsequent repairs/verifies?

  • I've completely reinstalled it yesterday after the update came out. There is a lot of games on this disk and none have any problems yet.

    And steam doesn't see any corrupted files

  • It was happening in store too. But the battle pass was the easiest way.

    Now i've reinstalled windows. It became more stable, can't get in menu. But still in game: arenas, training range.
