Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. any part
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. I cant track target
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? Yes
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 0
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm)
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Apex Legends form last 3th patch was using to much CPU, 2th patch fix most FPS drops but still Apex is eating my CPU and frames are unstable. After checking whats going on I saw huge CPU utilization by Apex Legends with never occur. I never had that problem before. Even my web browser is choking.
What should be happening instead? Smooth balanced CPU utilization
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Underclock your CPU and run Apex.

Please fix CPU utilization because my eyes hurt and I cant track enemies. For reference when new season start game was very smooth. Most time I had 170fps but now is 100 dipping near 60.

  • I made some benchmark using MSI Afterburner. That was TDM with that skull map.

I cant aim and fight when framerate drops from 140 to 60.

    20-10-2024, 00:40:53 r5apex.exe benchmark completed, 62378 frames rendered in 433.468 s
    Average framerate : 143.9 FPS
    Minimum framerate : 90.0 FPS
    Maximum framerate : 218.3 FPS
    1% low framerate : 63.0 FPS
    0.1% low framerate : 15.8 FPS

same here, in my case it started happening like 2 seasons ago, even with my fps capped low the game uses way too much CPU, constantly stutters and shows starvation errors all the time. I basically can't play the game, and it makes my entire PC run like poop while Apex is open.
