Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Trying to click any function in the lobby
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Nothing, starting game from .exe in folder location. Issue also occurs with Steam and Origin launcher

How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 1

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Game Crashes with error "Failure to decode oodle pak"
What should be happening instead? Being able to go into the lobby and using all the functions.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unsure of how to replicate issue, but there are youtube videos displaying the issue.
I have been consistently getting this issue for about three weeks now.
It went away for a while before, but has started occurring EVERY TIME the game is launched. The issue started happening again after the two notable events spaced one day apart.
The intro cinematic will sometimes complete. Sometimes I will be able to log in, reach lobby, and then the game will either
1) Crash without warning (Sometime Bluescreen)
2) Crash with Error message "Failure to Decode oodle pak file"
Notable Events:
- Turned off OneDrive
- Updated Nvidia GPU to latest 5/21/24 Driver
Tried solutions :
- I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling using Steam more than 3 times. On Different harddrives, and also deleting the directory
- Giving r5apex, r5apex d12 exe, and Easy anti cheat administrator mode
- Turning on Compatibility for those three files with Windows 8
Saved Games -> Respawn
Any assistance would be helpful like directions on where to check further logging.
