Game crashes at startup since last update

Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)

What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. -

Since last update of today, my game crashes at startup (when the little red apex legends logo appears at the bottom-right of the screen). Then a window appears saying "The application has encountered an unexpected error." and gives me the option to create a memory dump. I can start the dumping, but it gives me this error:

I played yesterday without any problem. My friend was playing today, and after the update he has the same issue as me.

My graphics card driver is up to date, and I verified the integrity of the game files. 

Version of the game : 3.0.79.45

    We've pushed a fix for this issue and you should be able to get back in-game next time you hop on.

    Sorry you were running into trouble here, but thanks for the report!

    We've pushed a fix for this issue and you should be able to get back in-game next time you hop on.

  • i am still experiencing this problem, tried verifying files on steam, didnt help, then i reinstalled apex, didnt help

    getting Application error. The memory could not be written

    can't attach .dmp file from crash report handler cos its an usnupported file type for upload here

    Edit: Looks like the program triggering the check is Autohotkey, and while i have it running, it has no macros for apex, so its very much a false positive

  • I've read about the anti-cheat recognizing different programs as malicious, but I literally don't have anything on the computer that I can think that would be labeled as malicious (I'm an old guy who just plays for fun....no need/time to mess with that stuff). 

    Haven't been able to launch and play the game since early Sept. suggestions for other software that may be interfering with easy?
