Getting downed, spawned me back at the last crafting station used.

What happens when the bug occurs? I was attacking an enemy with my squad. I got downed by the enemy and I suddenly transported to the last crafting station we were using (which sadly was outside of the ring), crawled around there until the ring killed me.
What should be happening instead? I just get downed and can crawl around until i'm picked up or killed.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? What I can notice was earlier we wiped a team that was using the crafting machine (Which was by the wall of the area next to the skeleton spine and charge station) One part of the station stayed open with a LVL 3 backpack (None of us needed it, so there it stayed) we used the crafting machine to upgrade shields and pick up a few items. I wanted to use the machine one last time as I just grabbed some more crafting material but one of the crafting doors (besides the one with the LVL 3 backpack) was also not really opening for me to use. I used the free one to craft a 4x-8x scope. When I got teleported back to that spot, it was on the crafting door that wouldn't open if that's any help.
