Having to leave the lobby or exit the game to get into another game.

I have a similar issue where I can play one game but if I go back to the lobby I have to restart the game or leave and rejoin the party if I want to requeue into a new match. This issue has been happening for over a year at this point and is really frustrating. I really hope something can be done to fix this
