Update- I have switched back to tap to use tap to reload with hold to crouch, and can now "dance" in combat again. However, now I reload whenever I tap x on an item or especially playing doors, which is exactly why I changed it in the first place. But I guess at least I'm not dying to the game refusing to crouch anytime there's a prompt to hold X near anything (loot, downed teammate).
I'm surprised this wasnt caught when hold to crouch was (and still to this day is for some stupid (more likely lazy) reason) unable to crouch at revive stations. It's the same negated interaction, if you can figure that out, the bugs toting from that issue should dry up as well.
