Same I just got this issue today as well. I was able to play earlier too. Now all my playing modes are locked.
I dont know if this helps. But this was my whole process. Training (nothing happened). Close game 2 times. Then joined a party. Left the party. Was out of orientation.
Just restarted the game after someone in a twitch chat said it was back on
It's now working for me, my advice is to restart game as when reloading main menu nothing happened (but when restarted game it did)
And btw, when it's a bug from Apex/Respawn, dont change nothing on your PC (unless needed otherwise), it's them the problem, not your PC or game.
Keep your drivers updated still, but has nothing to do with this kinda bug
