We have a post regarding this here where players have found workaround solutions to help get around this. The team is aware of that error and looking into it.
We've seen PS4 users improve connectivity through these steps below.
Try setting the DNS manually on your console to the Google one (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)

When in a team, after every single game we have to relaunch the game otherwise one of us doesn't see the other one being "ready", and if we still push both ready then only one is actually going in game.
Also after every single ranked in solo the matchmaking is set back to trio instead of staying to ranked... There are way to many bugs with the client on ps4...
