Incorrect Rank at Reset

What happens when the bug occurs? My soft rank reset occurred and I have a rank of gold IV now over the mode selector on the bottom left of the screen but next to my gamertag it displays my rank before the reset - Platinum II. I can’t matchmake ranked matches with my squad mate who is rank Silver I, because the game still assumes I’m Platinum II in the lobby but when in a game I am placed into matches as a gold IV player and I show as a gold IV player on my banner in the game.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to matchmake with my teammate who is of rank silver I when I’m rank Gold IV. And my rank displaying over the game mode selector should be the same as my rank displaying next to my gamertag in the lobby.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? See the photo attached of my lobby, to see the rank being checked for matchmaking in my lobby is inconsistent with my soft reset rank.
This is affecting playing with anyone less than gold rank currently.
