Keybinding of tilde-key is changed after game restart

What happens when the bug occurs? When assigning the tilde-key a "\" is shown. (Everything works normal) After game restart a "~" is shown instead. (Key does not work anymore.)
What should be happening instead? well, no rebinding of that key.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Assign the tilde-key to any keybinding. The key works. Restart the game. The key does not work. After reassigning the key it works again.

Using german keyboard layout. The tilde-key prints a "^" and not a "~" on german keyboards.

Also it is really a struggle how many questions there are in this form that have to be answered but are irrelevant for the bug I wanted to report. Please change that as well.
