Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)? -
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Menu Keybinding issue
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. -
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? -
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 9-Feb-2018
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
How severe is your issue? Minor impact to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? I play on my laptop and my desktop at different times. My brother has his own origin accounts that he uses when he use the desktop. I had my keybindings saved on my laptop and went over to use the desktop the first time and it brought over his keybindings. Then the server issues occurred during the weekend 8-10 Feb, and when my brother used his account this time, his keybindings were overwritten by mine along with his mouse sensitivity. After logging in 10 Feb onwards with my account my keybindings and settings don't transfer over.
What should be happening instead? keybindings and settings loading in correctly per account sign in.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use the same pc and log in with 2 different origin accounts with different apex settings.

Unless its intended that keybindings and settings are saved locally and only one per pc. Please set it that settings are saved per account at least the ones on the keybindings page.

  • The game saves are set to be uploaded by the cloud on top of local storage.

This should be the right way to use other keybind settings and accounts on Clients.

    Go to the origin launcher,

    Origin in the top left,

    application settings,

    installs and save,

    then disable could saving.

Now between switching accounts you have to copy and put to one side the files in this location:

    C:\Users\(UserName)\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex

Then put the new keybinded file (setting.cfg) in place of the old settings.cfg and delete the preivousgamestate.txt and the profile.cfg in the profile folder.

This should dis-associate the new changes and profiles from the previous account.

Now run the game like normal with the new account and play with the transfered settings.

    To reslove your current issue:

If your brother has a copy of his keybinds then you can use the above to reapply those settings correctly.

If not then delete the Apex folder in this location:

    C:\Users\(UserName)\Saved Games\Respawn\

Run the game and reapply the correct settings manually.

If you wish to keep switching keybinds i suggest you back up the Setting.cfg
