Got it, thanks! Do you have it running through the inline controls attachment for the headphones, or is it just going straight through?
I have no sound what so ever. Im on PC and have my ps4 controller plugged into it and my headset is plugged into my controller, ive even tried using an xbox controller and still nothing. I dont have any issue with any other game at all, just Apex. It was working for a bit but suddenyl stopped and its been like that for about a week so i cant even play the game. I even tried plugging my headset directly into my pc and that didnt help either. Please help because i really want to play and its making it really frustrating.
Hey @treeves03,
I ran into a similar issue recently on my own PC. My audio would just stop working when I would launch a game, and I would have no sound until I restarted the PC. I had to uninstall and reinstall my audio drivers in order to stop it from happening.
If you haven't already, can you give that a shot to see if it helps? You can find more info on how to reinstall them at the Microsoft Support website. If you expand the Fix your audio drivers section on that page it will have more details.
Let me know if you're still having any audio issues after that. Thanks!
Yes I tried that and I restarted my pc 3 times. It's only apex that gives me this issue, no other games do. Apex is the only game i've been wanting to play and its hard to do when you cant hear anything. I have tried everything.
Hmm, that is odd. Does your monitor have built-in speakers?
Gotcha! Have you had the chance to try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if that makes any difference? If there is anything else running that could be causing issues with the audio output that might help narrow it down.
You can find more information on how to set up a Clean Boot at the EA Help website. Once you've had the chance to give it a try please let me know how it goes. Thanks!
