Loading and Compiling Shaders

Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. I wasn't even loaded into the lobby yet, I was still stuck in the loading screen.
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. I was trying to load into the game after starting to launch it.

How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? It happens every single time.

What happens when the bug occurs? It will say "Loading and Compiling Shaders **/6814 [4.**]" and proceed to take around 15 min just to load me into the lobby when I initially launch the game. I have tried troubleshooting, restarting my pc, changing my shader settings in my graphics card programm and nothing has fixed it.
What should be happening instead? It should be loading me into the lobby after a minute or two without any message popping up regarding any shaders.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try loading in. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to affect everyone.

I will launch the Apex Legends application normally and then after I hit the left click on the mouse to continue into the game, it will pop up with the "Loading and Compiling Shaders **/6814 [4.**]". It is honestly becoming frustrating to have to sit there and wait for 15 minutes or more just to play the game and it has been such an annoyance that I simply refuse to play the game until the issue is resolved from a patch or an update of some kind.
