Loba teleport tactical (Jump Drive) cancels unexpectedly and returns to player

Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. All over the map. Was happening everywhere
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Trying to use Loba teleport
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? It's been cropping up, but today it was insanely bad

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? I throw my teleport and it returns denying the location. And this is a valid location. Like it was doing it over and over and over all over the map. I was getting denied over half of the time, and about 100% on the time when I was on a slight gradient. Started happening on the Treasures patch.
What should be happening instead? I should teleport to the valid location!
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Uh, revert the Loba teleport changes you made?

Loba is broke since the Treasure event patch.

Just a moment ago was the worst though. I was able to teleport like 4 or 5 times out of dozens of tries. The location was always valid. I could throw it right in front of me, and it came back. It did not matter where, it just came back. 

Super disappointing.
