Loba teleport tactical (Jump Drive) cancels unexpectedly and returns to player

What happens when the bug occurs? Trying to use Burglar's Best Friend almost anywhere on World's Edge causes the recall of the Translocate as though it had been thrown off the map. I even tested it on a flat surface a meter away from me and it didn't work.
What should be happening instead? Teleport to the designated location
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Literally just try to teleport almost anywhere on World's Edge. I believe the example I just have was at Outlook, but it's happened to me all over. King's Canyon seems mostly fine but it happens there occasionally as well.
