Loba's ring not working

What happens when the bug occurs? Sometimes the ring will not work. It happens whenever I'm trying to escape a bad firefight, which gets very irritating. It gives the ring back as if I cannot teleport to the spot, but it usually isn't in a weird spot. Sometimes it WILL go through, but I will not teleport forward. It will play the animation as if I teleported, but I am still in the same spot. Since the new update it has not worked.
What should be happening instead? I should be teleporting to where my ring has been thrown.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Rework Loba's ring. Whatever mechanic that has been put in place that prevents Loba from teleporting into a spot where she can get stuck has been kicking in too aggressively.
