Lobby Voice Chat Issue (PS5)

I play apex with a guy who has the same issue on ps5 I am on xbox and in the lobby there is no communication but can hear him just fine in game. if there is 3 of us in the party no one can hear him and he cannot hear us but as soon as the game is loaded everything works. is there a fix for this or just have to wait for next update?
